Worship at Faith centers in God’s Word and strength and forgiveness offered in the Holy Meal instituted by Jesus. We understand that we are only the means God uses to offer forgiveness and love to everyone, therefore anyone who is baptized and believes in Jesus, knowing that he is truly present in this Holy Meal, is welcome at the table.

The Ministry of Deacons deals with all matters that have to do with worship: working with the Pastor to choose the liturgy and congregational hymns for services, providing for ushers and greeters, working with youth leaders to schedule acolytes, and arranging for the flowers and other aids for special services. Presently the acolytes are assigned from the confirmation classes and the youth group. The Pastor schedules the assisting ministers and provides for their training.

The Altar Guild, which is also part of the worship responsibility ensures that all is ready for the weekly celebration of the Lord's Supper, provides banners for the worship, and the altar paraments are the appropriate color for the season of the church year. The Altar Guild provides an essential service for our worship.

Special music is provided by the Choir, individuals with musical talent, and the Praise Band. The Choir presently rehearses each Sunday at 7:45 AM. New members are always welcome. Our Organist, Linette Jacobson leads the choir.

There are many opportunities for volunteers to assist in any of these areas, including helping to ensure that the robes used by the acolytes and assisting ministers are kept clean and ready for use. If you would like any further information or want to volunteer for any of these opportunities for ministry, please contact Kathy Schmidt at 719-390-8960 or via email kathyschmidt.springs@gmail.com
