Service Contacts:

Adult Ed: Plans programs that provide spiritual growth to the adult members of the church which also includes special programs of interest within the community.  Provides an opportunity for members to teach specific Bible studies to confirmation students and adults.  Sunday school and weekly study groups are available.

Altar Guild: Set up the sanctuary before each service and clean up afterward.

During the school year, Adult Choir practice is at 7:45am on Sunday mornings before service. Children’s Choir practices at the beginning of Sunday School, 10:30am.Everyone is welcome.

During the summer, Rainbow Lutheran Trail combines with Faith for five days of Christian Day Camping for youth entering grades Kindergarten through 12th grade. Day Camp activities include Bible, Study, worship, arts and crafts, singing, fellowship and nature stu
dies.

Organizes and distributes food to families in the Fountain Valley that have registered, qualified and referred from Walt Forman Center (382-8515) as a family in need.

Accepts, organizes and prices donations for the annual garage sale (date held in the summer to be determined) with proceeds benefiting the church.

Kitchen Mom: Rita Bucholtz
Faith has a well equipped kitchen with a new dishwasher and stove, as well as everything that is needed to serve anything from a small snack to a full meal. While our kitchen is used primarily to serve the various functions of the congregation, it is also available for weddings and funerals. Our Kitchen Mom sees to it that the kitchen is kept clean and that there are adequate supplies of paper products and cleaning supplies. If anyone plans to use our kitchen and the Fellowship Hall, they need to check with Norma who will be able to explain the rules of our facility and make the proper arrangements for whatever is needed for the event. There are groups of members who assist in the kitchen, especially for funerals. Additional volunteers are always welcome.

Praise Band:  The Praise Team selects music and coordinates musicians for the Praise Services. Vocalists and musicians of all ages and abilities are welcome. Please contact Kathy for current practice information.

One telephone call, or email, activates Faith’s two prayer chains offering peace, comfort, and strength through sharing of prayer requests. Prayer requests are always kept confidential. If it concerns you, it concerns God.

Faith Quilters meet at 9:00am every other Monday at the church. We welcome all friends who share an interest in crafting.

Social Ministry: Ruth Archer 391-6298  ruth751@gmail.com The Social Ministry committee provides outreach both to those within our congregation and to the community around us. Members also strive to provide knowledge of opportunities to help others, and an awareness of how our individual actions impact the world we live in.

Sunday School:l: Sunday school classes are offered for pre-school through twelfth grades.  Classes are using a pre-planned curriculum that provides continuity and simplifies the role of teachers within the program.  Special holiday lessons and a Christmas program are included.   For the summer, one class comprised of all ages is learning about The Lords Prayer from our Sunday school superintendent.
