xxxxQuotes from Martin Luther...ON FAITH x xx
Faith is a living, daring confidence in God’s grace, so sure and certain that a man would stake his life on it a thousand times . . . O, it is a living, busy, active, mighty thing, this faith; and so it is impossible for it not to do good works incessantly.
There is a thank you on the bulletin board from the Everything For Sight for 2022 penny donation of $393.14. In 2023 our pennies will be given to Bridges Child Placement Agency in Pueblo. This organiazation recruits and trains foster parents to provide foster care to children in Colorado.

Thank you so much for continuing to save stamps for Stamps for a Living who use these canceled stamps for support for their
clients. They make pictures, etc. with them and sell them in their gift shop. They no longer get as many as they used to since more and more people do not use “snail mail” any more. So these are greatly appreciated. This month we sent off 2 ½ pounds.
Lap robes were taken to Lutheran Family Services to be given to children in foster care and to refugee families. They were very pleased to receive so many lap robes at one time. Since this is an ongoing need we will continue to crochet lap robes and prayer shawls. Thank you to all for crocheting the many squares necessary. More information on Lutheran Family Services is on the bulletin board in the narthex.
Women’s thanks offerings will be collected during the service November 20th. Our ladies have a small container handy and whenever they are thankful for something that happened during that day they put a deposit in that container. This reminds us of God’s daily blessings. In November these offerings are collected and given to a charity. At this time the charity has not been chosen. If you would like further information or have questions, please see Ruth Archer.
Thanks to the generosity of the congregation and the women of the FLCW almost $300.00 and a large tub filled with school supplies was delivered to Lutheran Family Services. The money will be used to buy backpacks and other supplies still needed for school for foster and refugee children. Our donations were very much appreciated!
